Eyes Wide Shut

Sometimes we cannot see things that are right in front of our eyes because of a lack of vision, because our feelings blind our eyes, or because we refuse adamantly to see what is so obvious. Sometimes the heart makes the eyes close, so that they will not see what the heart does not want to know. Sometimes others throw sand into our eyes leaving us unable to see. Sometimes we are simply blind because our wishes do not match reality: a reality that we cannot live with. Even if we can see what is happening we will chose not to see as we fear to be left without anyone. This may happen because we are more vulnerable. This may happen because we have never had a similar experience before. But the bottom line is that our Eyes will Shut down Widely so that they will not see what we really do not want to see. Because we are naive, because we cannot understand, because we hope.

Why do Eyes Wide Shut when we need them completely open? Is it a matter of self-protection? Is it dumbness? Is it faith in that what we are seeing will have changed when we re-open our eyes? Why does it happen?

In any situation the end result - loneliness, but its better off alone than with people who do not really care for you !!

Well off late i have started a new hobby of collecting n writing shayaris .So here are some of my favs.

Dil ke jazbaat ki awaaz nahi hoti
ikrar me suron ki barsaat nahi hoti
nigahe bayan kar deti hain dastan sari
dosti lafzon ki mohtaz nahi hoti ...

Kyun rakhu main ab apne kalam me shayi
jab koi armaan dil me machalta hi nahi
na jane kyun sabhi shaq karte hain mujh par
jab koi sukha phool mere kitab me khilta hi nahi
kashish to bahut thi mohabbat me hamari
magar woh pathar dil pighalta hi nahi
sochta hoon khuda se jakar poochon kasoor apna
par suna hain woh kisi se milta hi nahi....

Agar khush hain woh dekhkar aasu meri aankho me
to khuda ki kasam hum muskurana hi chod denge
tadapte rehenge use dekhne ko magar
uski taraf palke uthana hi chod denge
woh manjil hi kya meri jo dukh de usko
khuda ki kasam us manjil pe hum jana hi chod denge...!!!

Kisi ki yaadon ne pagal bana rakha hain
kahin mar na jao kafan sila rakha hain
jalane se pehle dil nikal lena...

The Power Of Silence

Well I dunno y I am doing this.Its 1.30 in night.My friends are sitting in my room.As usual they are taking shots on my future. Nothing new for me though.For a long time I hav been thinking of doing this .So I thought why not start with a integral part of my life " SILENCE "

In the high decibel of my friends n linkin Park ringing in my ears I drift into my silent world. The world where I enjoy peace away from everyone just me and my thoughts.I m feeling like I am just rejuvenated .Away from tensions and any worries .My friends have got bored of trying to make me talk but in vain.I dunno why but leaving away from home for the past three years I have learnt to admire the power of silence. It has given a new dimension to my thinking .The ability to just spend a few moments with just yourself n yourself alone is something which i cant just explain here in words.The soothing effect it has on me is unmatchable. I think dis is gonna sound weird to many ppl. But believe me just try it and experience for yourself.Just try to shut your mind as if employing Occlumency n let tensions n evil in your life drift away n feel the calm n comfort.
